Here's how to get started:

Process 1:

First, it is absolutely mandatory that all students complete the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Training on-line at a reputable training facility before attending classes. It takes 2-4 hours to complete this on-line training.

Please bring your certificate with you to the first day of class.

Visit nationalcprfoundation.com for bloodborne pathogens online training.

Process 2:

Next, read and choose the microblading/microshading training package A or B before submitting the enrollment form with your interest and making a $500 non-refundable deposit to reserve your seat.

Process 3:

Once the training is completed, the new technician must contact the Illinois Department of Public Health to file for a license with their local health department.

File here.

The cost for the annually renewed license is approximately $500 and your work location will be examined by health inspectors to make sure it meets the industry standards.

Process 4:

Once licensed by your local health department, new technicians can apply for insurance with Marine Agency Corporation, Hiscox Insurance Company, or Professional Program Insurance Brokerage.

The Aftermath

Glo'More Microblading and Beauty Academy is available to help trained technicians achieve success in their new permanent cosmetics careers.

Graduates become a part of our business family and will receive special assistance when needed.  We are a physical school and students can visit our academy for practical training with the approval of the Director. This will allow graduates to feel confident in their skills before starting a new career.

For student and client safety, we only recommend individuals be trained in an environment that has been approved by the state. We also recommend students avoid being trained in unauthorized training facilities.
