Skin Needling (Collagen Induction Therapy)

Needling is a technique used for reducing the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, sun spots, laser scarring, stretchmarks, acne scars, chicken pox scars, pitting in the skin from pimples or injuries, surgical scars, or hypopigmented areas. Skin needling is for all areas of the body.
Needling rejuvenates the skin and helps your body fill and soften wrinkles and other scarred areas naturally by producing natural collagen without the use of chemicals, lasers, or injections every 6 months.

Needling provides less damaging effects on the epidermis. This procedure can be repeated several times because of the collagen build-up in the treated areas making the dermis thicker instead of thinner. Other procedures like Chemical Peels and Laser treatments remove the healthy top layer of skin (epidermis). These treatments although effective can cause side effects including hypopigmentation (color loss), hyperpigmentation (darkening), thinning of the skin, or sensitivity. Because needling does not remove the epidermis like other resurfacing procedures. The healthy skin between the lines and wrinkles goes untouched.
